The United States Council of Catholic Bishops believes parents are an active part of faith formation and encourages parents to make every effort to strengthen the family's understanding of walking in the ways of Our Lord and His Holy Church.
Catholic Faith Formation (CFF) is the Saint Mary Cathedral Religious Education Community which provides full family catechesis and prepares the faithful to receive the Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation, plus encourages lifelong relationships between families and our Christian community.
Our full family catechesis community asks that students and parents attend classes each Sunday at 10:45 a.m. for one hour. Families are also invited to active members of our community by attending Mass at Saint Mary Cathedral and participating in CFF events throughout the year.
For parents who wish to participate in their child’s classroom setting, we ask that you become a volunteer and complete the requirements needed for Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM) program.
