The four projects for your Cathedral are all progressing on time.
- The repair on the southwest wall of the Cathedral has finished its plaster stage. Painting will commence this coming week with an estimated completion date of Dec. 10. Working with Marvin Allen and his firm has been an example of professionalism at its best.
- The choir loft now has a "new" floor, compliments of the Richard Miscoe team. Actually, it's part of many old oak floors that have been donated over the last seeveral months. We will begin sanding this week, followed by sealing the following week. Dec. 15 still looks good for completion.
- Our irrigation system is now completely installed and working. Parishioner and head of the Cathedral Evangelization Committee Joe Bartley went "above and beyond" with this project. Make it a point to thank Joe when you see him.
- Lastly, our gift shop is on track to open next weekend. Stop by and admire the fantastic stone and metal work. And get ready to do your Christmas shopping there. This wonderful project is the culmination of efforts by Marianne Larson and Linda Amey.
Lastly, we are receiving bids for the gutter repair on the Cathedral. This project will take approximately two weeks and should be started in early January. More to follow as we make progress toward selecting a contractor.
