The choir Rayito de Luz (Spanish for "Little Ray of Light") started singing at the mass in Spanish in 1994. Since then, they have accompanied our parishioners who love and live by the Latin American Catholic traditions like our devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe, the colorful celebrations of the “Semana Santa” and “Pascua,” our dances and traditional songs, etc.
Currently the choir is a gathering of singers and musicians from multiple countries what makes it a very rich experience. Most of us are native Spanish speakers, but we also encourage non-native speakers to participate and celebrate our faith from our own personal experience and God-given gifts.
The music that we use at Mass comes from different traditions, including Latin American, Spain, Italy and the United States. Some of our members also write songs that we perform as a personal way to pray to the Lord.
The choir always welcomes musicians and singers to our rehearsals Fridays at 6:30 p.m. and Sundays at noon at the
