On the morning of April 25, 2008, a tragedy occurred to one of our Saint Mary Cathedral families, the Ancira/Astran family. An electrical fire consumed the home of John and Margarita Ancira and their four grandchildren, causing a total loss of their property and personal belongings. Due to the age of their home, it was a total loss without any insurance coverage.

A special account has been set up in their name at IBC Bank for parishioners to make monetary donations. All offerings can be submitted to:
