The main entrance of Saint Mary Cathedral is found on 10th Street, near Brazos. Stairs lead up to the grand arches framing the main entrance. A handicap accessible entrance may be found on the east side of the Cathedral, where a ramp leads into a side entrance.
Due to demand, this popular Austin event is being offered on two evenings: Dec. 20 and 21! The Cathedral’s own remarkable Schola Cantorum will be joined by Scottish singer and folkorist Ed Miller, the Irish traditional band The Tea Merchants, Gregory Greene of The Prodigals, the Irish Dancers and Harpist Delaine Fedson to present a celebration of the Christmas Spirit as told in song and story by the Celts down through the centuries. Tickets for this eagerly anticipated event go on sale starting Oct. 1, 2007. Tickets are $22 each (both nights) and are available at Things Celtic, 1806 W. 35th Street.
