Donahue Center cafeteria is the PG level of the parking garage behind the Cathedral and is located inside the southeast corner of Donahue Center. Donahue Center may be entered, with an access code, from the large public access alley behind the church. There are several blue doors, under which "Donahue Center" is displayed. Upon entering the center, follow the red painted pathway on the floor to find the cafeteria.
Are you an altar server, lector, gift shop volunteer, singer in the Schola Cantorum, school volunteer, usher, extraordinary minister of Holy Communion or involved in any Cathedral ministry? This workshop is designed specially for you. Its purpose is to help you make your ministry an occasion of grace and spiritual growth—both for you and those you serve.
Fr. Kevin Rai from San Jose Catholic Church will conduct this workshop in the Saint Mary Cathedral Donahue Center cafeteria on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007 from 10 a.m. to noon. The first hour will consist of a teaching on the Spirituality of Ministry. It will be followed by light refreshments and an opportunity for discussion.
Originally designed for ministers of The Benediction Experience, this workshop has been extended to all who provide any kind of service in the Church, not only people involved in liturgy but also those serving in social ministry, administration, teaching and other areas. The focus is the underlying concern of all involvement in parish life—how to turn ministry into spirituality.
Whoever serves, let it be with the strength that God supplies.
