1. What is the final date to register?
After August 23, 2020, registration for Sacramental Preparation is closed until the next catechetical year; however, CFF accepts families throughout the year for Religious Education.

Yes. Most learning will be conducted via Zoom. We are now blessed with an opportunity to invest in parents, equipping you with tools to lead your family in the faith, and collaborating with you in new ways.

8. What if we miss a session?
Although it’s best you work in collaboration with other parents and families, we will record sessions, so that you can review them later.
9. Are there workshops for youngsters receiving sacraments?
Yes. Four times a year for each sacrament. To be announced.
10. How will our children be held accountable for their learning?
Children along with families – through quizzes, interviews, checklists, and completed family projects – reveal their journey of faith concretely and in Christian charity.
11. When will my child receive their sacrament?
Typically after two years of religious education in a Catholic school or in parish faith formation, your child may begin a year of sacramental preparation.
12. My child missed receiving Confirmation plus First Eucharist (and possibly Baptism) in Spring because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Does he or she have to take classes now until the next time these sacraments are available?
We recommend continuing Religious Education, however it is not required. Children who missed their Spring sacraments of Confirmation plus First Eucharist (and possibly Baptism) may choose to continue Religious Education.
13. Must my family be registered with Saint Mary Cathedral?
Yes. Even if you are parishioners at another parish, your participation is important in receiving communication and establishing a sense of belonging here at Saint Mary Cathedral.
