Sacraments of Initiation
Sacramentos de Iniciación 

RCIA-A is not a course or class in Catholicism. 
Rather, it is a gradual, guided two-year minimum process of
formation and conversion reserved for young people
- ​ages 7 through 17 -
who have not received their First Holy Communion,
that leads them toward full discipleship into the Catholic Church.
Christian Initiation is marked by the celebration of three sacraments as needed:
Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy Eucharist.

Sponsor Requirement - All catechumens and candidates are required to have a local sponsor  and they must attend Rites and Workshops together.
